DURIANS! haha..
before i start! PEOPLE MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! AND BLESSED MUAY-THAI DAY!!! ^^
yesterday~ was CHRISTMAS!! ^^ n i spent mine with baobei, yiling, audd, yihang n kelv.. haha ^^ thanks for the presents!
morning wasnt great at all. quarreled quite heatly with my parents.love them but still. i hate being accused.
oh oh oh! audd gave me THE anna sui perfume!! whahaha!!
anyways.. exchanged the rest of prest with bruuuddeeerr yesterday.. (: whoope whoope dooo~~
den went msq to meet the rest.. but before that, we went to sasa to do the makeover first, for the fun of it. . AND ME N AUDD PUT ON FAKE EYELASHES! HAHA! so fun! so nice!! haha ^^ audd looked great with makeup, tho it was kind of weird initially.. ^^ met up with the rest and ate at genki sushi! super fulling la!! ^^ and it's exchange presents with the rest! haha! im glad all of them like their presents.. even if u dun like u must also say u like!! ^^
was so bloated by den.. and walked arnd to hunt for ziming presents and all.. n i decided to buy junwei sth since he's so nice to treat me to chipmunks~ ((: and arnd 11, we bused to clarke quay.. walked arnd.. jumped arnd.. sat down talked talked.. and i saw few of my frens dere.. haha ^^ gen and some others.. bt sadly they didnt see me~ ); hah..
den arnd 2 in the morning, we cabbed down to geylang.. yiling was craving for frog porridge, and i wanted to eat tou huay initially.. and people, im sure u guys noe abt the crazy rise in cab fees. so we stopped a few cabs to ask abt the cost of the ride frm clarke quay to geylang.. AND WE WERE TRULY BLESSED LA! haha ^^ there's this 7 seater cab pulled up behind one of the cabs we flagged down.. haha.. and yiling was like shouting " ke yi zuo 7 ge ren!!"
haha! i think the previous cabs uncles were pissed but... so comfortable la!! haha.. spacious, and got movie to watch! haha! n much more economical!
see har, if separate cabbed down to geylang in 2 seperate taxi, it maybe more den 10.. for each cab.. bt in this 7 seater cab, we paid $10.70 in total. each of us paid less den $2! ^^
yepp.. so yiling, kelvin n yihang pigged themselves out on frog porridge, while the others just look at them eat, and talked.. i was kinda drowsy by the fan blowing in my face.. man, the service is so @#$%^& im not expecting 5 star restaurants kinda service. but still. courtesy pls. m.i.c. what to expect.. ugh.
decided to walked arnd geylang, and i suddenly have a craving for DURIANS!! hahah!! so walked down geylang, and saw no durians bt alot of chicken fur ( inside joke!) so we decided to ask this guy in one of the 7 eleven stores (man, there's alot of 7 eleven stores along geylang, kelvin thinks it's main purpose is to sell condoms! LOL!!) and he told us. all the fruit stores are closed at this hr. which got us kinda perplexed, since geylang durian stores are known for 24/7. riggghhhttt.. so in the end, we de toured back, and asked anudder person, who thankfully gave us the right directions to the store. and viola! DURIANS!!
so fun la!! first time eating durians with friends early in the morning at geylang. some more not those da bao one.. haha! and from this experience, it can be tell that, im the "pro" durian eater (: thanks to training frm young by my durian loving parents~~ n yihang also~~ haha.. ^^well others enjoy the durians that we chose. initially, we just bought 3. den went for 2nd round, n we asked the uncle to give us 4 durians at $20. ^^ n we got them!! but we were so ful la at the end! n there's leftovers which we da bao n i took them home!!
oh! durian stores bosses are loaded! the store we went to. there's this ferrari parked there! holy papa! ^^
okay, lame. speaking of which, kelvin n yihang are uber lame. especially kelvin! haha! but it was so so so fun la this outing! haha ^^
aft durian-ing, we decided to walk back marina sq that area. for reasons i cant rmb. haha. can u imagine! from geylang to cityhall that area!! madness! thank god for the night walk during camp. haha ^^ was worn out only when we were about to reach marina sq.. haha ^^ all of us were worn out but not sleepy.. haha! this goes to show that we are all night owls! i noe it for myself!. haha! thru out the night walk during camp, i kept myself entertained and all, by being uber active (aka hyper active), to stay awake. haha ^^
we really walked very far la! haha! it was near the crack of morning when we are reaching the entrance to ecp frm temasek boulevard. solid man! morning excersise liteally. thank god we didnt wear heels or skirts. will be maimed till school reopens. hohoho! imagine suz came with us. man, she will complain! haha ^^
but by the time we reached msq, i was k.o. literally. i just slept on the pavements outside msq. haha ^^ until arnd 7.. den mrted home. me n audd was sleeping so soundly! and i think i stinked thr mrt up with the durians in my bag. ^^ love love~
reached home, bathed n k.o.ed on my bed.. and taadaaa!! woke up at 3 in the afternoon, thanks to the construction taking place at the 6th flr. haha! super rested! and now alive n kicking, and going to watch chipmunks later~~ ((:
