i seriously feel super horrible. ): i thought i almost blacked out when walking home just now. ): really really terrible. my throat is so choked that i cant sallow properly. i feel unusually cold and warm at times. i cant even walk straight. =/
my throat is phlegm-y and my nose is blocked. my whole body was freezing in the cinema, and when i came out it, it was almost frozen. then, my body temperature sky rocketed so much that im having a raging fever now.

i really hate being sick, especially when you are not prepared for it. i didn't feel sick when i fell ill. and it's horrible.
the headaches are continuous, my throat feels like its on fire, my limbs feel cold even under the hot sun of S'pore and the aches on my back make me want to lie down on my bed the whole day. and i feel warm all over. it's pure agony and misery.
thanks to the sudden attack, i cant go sit cable car and cant go to mt faber, i cant eat my laska steamboat, and i spoilt everyone's days. ): was really looking forward to having a great night out with the girls, but the stupid stupid flu ruins it all. and i have to spend money on a doctor whom slighted me just because she thinks im another kid who just want to chao keng and skip school. patronizing bitch. she didnt even listen to my heartbeat through the stethoscope or what.

so being atrociously feeble in my steps and movements, im reduced to eating porridge and have to constantly find places to sit, mainly because i felt my whole body aching. had a short nap with audd at starbucks before hitting home in daddy's car. i doubted i would be able to endure the long ride home via public transport. and the nap? it was marvelous. it refueled my whole body and i felt as though i can embark on a shopping spree there and then. =]

it sure has been awhile since i last hit town with a blonde and left there penniless. nonetheless i miss those times a lot, really! i miss those times when we go from shop to shop, balancing those hangers on our fingers as we barge into the fitting room, run to the nearest atm withdrawing money more than once in a day sometimes, laughing at our experiment with the different apparels/accessories, digging our wallets for the very last coin and sharing a meal together. and most of all, constantly lengthening our very own mental shopping list(which i must say, is never ending and it can never be entirely striked out).

Trio take two golds and a bronze at digital art competition
Second-year Diploma in Digital Media (DDM) students Cherrie Chen, Lam Oi Keat and Seah Jian Ling evidently have the environment on their minds. The three Singapore Polytechnic (SP) students translated their concerns into art to win awards at the Digital Art Competition on the Environment. Their performance tops that of the two silvers won at last year’s competition.
Organised by the British Council Singapore, the Singapore Science Centre and the Scholastic Environment Fund (SEF) to raise public interest in and awareness of environmental issues through the use of visual communication, this year’s competition was built around the theme “Climate Cool in the Urban Jungle”.
We caught up with Cherrie and Oi Keat recently to find out more about their achievement.
Cherrie’s submission, entitled “Who destroyed it?” took the gold award in the tertiary division of the competition. Her inspiration for the work came one day when she happened to be looking out at the city of Singapore from the Esplanade rooftop garden. ( where she always hang out after church service with me and the rest, so in a sense, im her inspiration!)
“It made me wonder what it was like before all the skyscrapers sprouted all over and changed the skyline. That's when I had this inspiration to make a comparison of the past and the present,” Cherry( hahah!!)explains.
She wants others to be aware of what urbanisation has done to the environment and has tried to represent this in her work.
“The once peaceful and harmonious village has been replaced by modern buildings and skyscrapers. The two dragon-like plumes of smoke signify that humans are self-destructive; the price we are paying for modernisation. The city causes pollution that contributes to global warming, which in turn leads to more serious problems.”

im so inspired to take up professional photography. looking stuff through lenses is pure wonder and thrill. for some reason, you see things at a different light, and everything become surreal and dreamlike through the camera lenses, yet at the same time, so bona fide.
though i pretty much suck at the adjusting the focus ring ,changing the AV for different light modes, the shutter speed, the iso and what-else, and understanding the logic behind how to work a dslr, i love fondling(sounds wrong), and exploring the camera.

seriously, my liquor tolerance level has went down to the bottomless pit. a few vodkas, one gin and tonic, half a cosmo, an island tea, a Bombay sapphire gin and a shot with whipped cream is enough to puke my lunch out. wth. nonetheless, i've been drinking rather a lot these few days, guess my stomach cant take it.
i don't know what im trying to do, using liquor as a form of escape and release. hell, i know it's the thrill is temporal, and i will end up feeling even more miserable. it just that sometimes i need a getaway from all these. or maybe im in delusion.
but going out with fun people is...fun.. (: yiling, boonyen, audd, and the bochaps. all those sick jokes. haaa. =] and i finally got to try the wheelchairs at clinic! pretty fun maneuvering in those chairs.
and i finally get to play with a DSLR today!!! cherrie brought the one from school and i get to play with it!! it was so darn fun!! :D and yes, it's uber good. though i know nuts bout all those functions and buttons, i have to admit, i have hell of good angling, and you know what? believe me when i say im artsy. :D
as much as i want to crash at home today, there's church. and i love being in church, it seems to me a better place to break free in. at least i know the feeling last much longer, i don't get wasted and puke in front of the great white throne after drinks. =]

anyhoos, at least school was fine-o-fine today. ecm was alright, randy ng said that we did a good job for the evaluation thingy. ma1 was a breeze. actually, i do have good teachers this sem.. all of them are funny, smart and witty, and they know the subjs they are teaching ,very well. praise god. :D
went movies with steffie today, harold and kumar. well well,i have to say it's for people with great sense of humour or with raging hormones, or they are racists, or anti-us government. ;D the whole story is very much exaggerated. nonetheless, it was totally hilarious and definitely gave me a good laugh throughout the whole movie.
oh oh!! one more thing! dan humphrey( penn bagley) and serena van der woodsen( blake lively) are off set couple!! awesome!! they are so adorable together. if only they are still together in gossip girls. but den again, we cant have the best of both worlds at time. :D
something that made me smile today. nah, i shan't say it here. if any kpo wants to know, ask me. hah! but den again, i may not answer you.
