MAN WILL LIVE FOREVER MORE BECAUSE OF CHRISTMAS DAY ((:

the christmas eve that i thought would be a simple countown turned out to be a hyped up night at boonyen's. but the trip to her place was filled with a few pitstops along the way. vivo was so not we expected, it was awfully quiet. and the reasons i could think of is that, the people of singapore flooded the streets of orchard, which i took extra effort to avoid as much as possible, or that, people have taken the right choice to stay at home and watch little nyonya, avoid the crowd and save money in this recession.
went over to powerhouse, and zouk, and left there and then at their entrances when we found out that there were cover charges tonight. you see, we weren't prepared to go clubbing as the plan was to have a budget Christmas this year, so the finances weren't there.
but who say we can't have fun without sufficient moolah? we headed over to boonyen's place, for a supposedly drinking session, but ended up with me drinking more than the rest, and me bringing the bottle home. and just when we decided the mood wasn't there for christmas, we called up a few lucky and hand picked friends, and brought to them carolling through the modernized telecommunication airwaves of Singapore, except that the sound systems did not deliver the expected effect of the carollings. and to boonyen and yiling, i swear it wasn't the alcohol effects on me when aud and i became so "you know", it's just us when we are together.

that's what Christmas should be like, spending time together with family, and your bestest friends. love them all. blissful year ahead everyone!
